From Frumpy to Fabulous!

We had an old shed out back that came with the house when we purchased it in 1998. My husband had added onto it, but it was in sad shape. We had a new roof put on it but the plywood was rotting. I wanted to tear it down, but he assured me that the bones were good. So we decided to repair what we could. I hated the old wooden doors and the way he had rigged them to lock. We had a time finding doors in our NC town that would fit the opening, were not wooden, and opened the way that we needed. A traditional garage door would not work, nor would a roll up. The only alternative that wasn’t wood was double doors, but no company around here could accommodate us. We tried ReStore (Habitat for Humanity resale shop) places, and other home improvement businesses, but most doors opened internally.
