On June 10th and 11th, Matt and Sammy from Shed Repair, LLC, restored the two sheds on our property by removing and replacing much of the rotted wood around the bottoms, removing the old windows and vents and installing new windows and vents, removing the old shingle roofs and bad plywood roof sections, installing new sections of roof wood and new shingle roofs, removing the old doors and installing new stylish doors, covering both sheds with new vinyl siding and trim, and installing a ramp by the doors on one of the sheds. These two sheds are about 40 to 50 years old, and now look like brand new sheds. Matt and Sammy worked hard, neatly, and effectively. They were also very personable as we discussed the work that was arranged to be done. They also took the time to answer my questions about the contracted work.
Also worth mentioning was the friendly and upfront arrangement of this whole project with Jonathon on the phone and through email correspondence. He was very attentive to the details of our shed restorations, and my wife and I felt that his price quotes for the work to be done were very fair.

We had an old shed out back that came with the house when we purchased it in 1998. My husband had added onto it, but it was in sad shape. We had a new roof put on it but the plywood was rotting. I wanted to tear it down, but he assured me that the bones were good. So we decided to repair what we could. I hated the old wooden doors and the way he had rigged them to lock. We had a time finding doors in our NC town that would fit the opening, were not wooden, and opened the way that we needed. A traditional garage door would not work, nor would a roll up. The only alternative that wasn’t wood was double doors, but no company around here could accommodate us. We tried ReStore (Habitat for Humanity resale shop) places, and other home improvement businesses, but most doors opened internally. From start to finish:
Worker did not report to the customer’s home on time. Homeowner contacted worker by phone after two hours had elapsed to determine if worker was still coming that day. Worker offered no apology nor reason for his delay and said he would there in about an hour. During the shed upgrade, the worker did a good good with listening to our needs and discussing specific modifications. Final product looks excellent, from top to bottom.

Shed repair did an excellent job refurbishing my 20 year old shed. The doors and siding look brand new and it was done at half the cost of a new shed. I would strongly recommend using them if your current shed is adequate in size. They completed the job in one day and are very courteous.
